Q. What is the first hing patients experience that's different from a traditional dental office?
A. My philosophy is to wow patients - a.k.a. our guests-from the minute they step inside our dental loft. It's about a luxurious, relaxing environment and exceptional customer care. With out velvet down couches, big leather chairs, Oriental rugs, a chandelier and fresh flowers, guests have occasionally mistaken us for a high-end boutique. Our treatment coordinators personally greet guests, offer a beverage, and escort them to our treatment studios.
Q. Sugar Fix is known for its incomparable spa ambience. What does that include?
A.Once a guest is settled into their treatment studio, they can choose options from our comfort menu - cashmere blankets, hot scented towels and warm neck pillows let them get cozy. We have BOSE noise-canceling headphones, flat-screen TVs and a wide selection of movies to enjoy. For longer procedures, we can bring in professional therapists for hand and arm massages. We even provide Sugar Fix in lip balm
Q. What traditional dental treatments are combined with typical med-spa procedures?
A. I have a passion for aesthetic dentistry. A smile can be restored with porcelain veneers. These are truly an art form - the right shape, translucency, shade and facial characteristics are crucial. With the new veneers in place, an inject able dermal filler like Restylane, Juvaderm or Captique can enhance the shape and volume of the upper lip and make all the difference. I've also hosted Botox and whitening events with music, hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. Guests were thrilled with the results and had lots of fun too.
Q. What keeps them coming back?
A.The dental loft is my home away from home. With what we've created, my guests visit a caring practitioner whose goal is to give them a pampering break in their day and a great smile. What could be better than that?
